RE: 39c...the one that got away

I had a 2005 39D. It rode like a uhaul truck with the leaf springs and no air-bags like the 2006 models. The price sounds very good, but the unit was not built that well, bathroom was very small. F750 was good and the C-7 with the 3000 allison was good. You would have no worries about towing or anything you put in it. No engine brake with that size unit was also a big miss. Losing this unit may have been a blessing.

RE: 2008 Seneca 34SS Price Quote

I paid $110,000 for a 2008 34SS. That is a good price.

RE: Emptying Seneca tanks

I have a 2008 34SS with the same problem. I was wondering if there was something blocking the gray tank, syrofoam, wood shavings or what?!?!?

RE: 2008 Seneca HD Diesel 36FS Double slides

Not many answered your question. I have a 2008 34 SS and I get about 7.5 at 65 mph towing a 14' trailer. 19,000 springs are a must and otherwise the units are pretty good. All RV's have some problems.

RE: Seneca towing

I have a 35SS and tow 14ft enclosed with two quads. I also upgraded to the 19,000 lb springs and rear track bar. The unit pulls very well and no problems with the wind or large passing trucks.

RE: Jayco Seneca questions

I have a 2008 34FS and it's a good unit. The duramax engine is great and can pull just about anything. The ride is smooth, but the unit could stand some upgrades on sway control. Unit seems to be built as good as any but the Chevy cab is a bit plain. I have a few things that need fixing, but that would be with any unit. Mileage is about 7.5, again about the same as with any RV.

RE: Jayco Seneca HD 36MS

Saw one two weeks ago at the Pomona, CA RV show. It is very roomy and I thought it looked outstanding. I think the MSRP price was $169,000. Not sure why they kept the second lavatory other than you could have his and her's, but thought it was a great looking unit!
